Favorite Locations for Family Photos in Orange County, California - O’Neill Regional Park
The branches of the old oak trees reached up over the road, creating a canopy of shaded green on a summer day in 1993. I thought I had been transported to a world away from the wide freeway stacked thick with traffic. It was my first adventure in O’Neill Regional Park and I fell in love that day with the shady green slopes dotted with sycamore and oak trees. Since then I have brought my kids here to collect acorns, find leaves as big as their heads, and throw rocks in the dry wash. It feels far away from the bustle of Orange County and is truly one of the gems of Southern California.
